During his visit to Artsakh, Congressman David G. Valadao today held a meeting with Mr. Ashot Ghulyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh Republic. Rep. Valadao and Speaker Ghulyan touched upon the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, the role of international organizations in preventing border incidents, as well as the efforts of the Armenian Caucus in strengthening US relations with Armenia and Artsakh.

Speaker Ghulyan emphasized the importance of the US humanitarian assistance to Artsakh and acknowledged the latest Amendment introduced by Rep. Valadao for ensuring continued US support to the demining process in Artsakh.
