Over the weekend, we joined 60 residents of Meghri community to celebrate the completion of another year of U.S. Embassy-sponsored English lessons. For the past four years, students and young professionals have been taking afternoon English courses in Meghri, with new cohorts joining each year. We’re proud to help residents of Meghri develop their English skills to promote tourism in the region and access international news and study opportunities. They were joined at their graduation weekend by Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer Diana Sitt, who told them English is the key to a bright future.
